Your role:

  • Accounts for all materials and supplies; audits goods received into warehouse.
  • Oversees receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
  • Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance protection of facilities and equipment.
  • Responsible for the shipping, receiving, inventory control, and processing of freight according to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures company policies and processes are followed including waste management compliance.
  • Responsible for Kronos administration and ensures compliance with wage and hour laws.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the building.
  • Ensures the safety of associates by reporting and addressing safety hazards.
  • Responsible for performance management and team development.


What you bring to the role:

  • Supervises support level employees. Sets day-to-day operational objectives for the team. Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Thorough knowledge of department processes.
  • Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports and stakeholders.
  • Point person to resolve issues elevated by support personnel.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
  • Generally, works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Normally receives little instruction on daily work. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.


Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Four – year college degree not required but strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years functional experience including a minimum of 3 years specific experience and 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Must be bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish

The typical base pay range for this role San Diego, California is USD $61,400 - $79,800 - $98,200.

 

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
