About the Role:


The Vendor Business Manager - Palo Alto

The Vendor Business Manager is responsible for the overall direction and management of the vendor, developing strategies that will achieve growth targets and market share.

The vendor business manager acts as the brand ambassador for their vendor to internal stakeholders, providing a specialized consultative service, driving, and maintaining vendor programs, business, and marketing plans, training programs, building, and maintaining positive vendor performance.


Your role will include but not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing a business plan that is in line with the goals of the vendor and the company's direction.

  • The coordination of the marketing plan driven by high market intelligence along with reviewing the return of investment.

  • Develop and manage partner growth and level up programs.

  • Drive brand and ecosystem journey from product ranging, program incentives, product training along with leveraging Ingram Micro’s service and support capabilities.

  • Keep up to date on current vendor technology trends to drive desired result.

  • Acting as a product evangelist conduit between the vendor, Ingram Micro sales team, and partners.

  • Tracking pipeline and sell out along with go to market activities.

  • Establish opportunities with complementary vendors/markets to drive channel offerings, identify new markets or areas of growth.

  • Setting and reviewing the pricing strategy along with the management of the rebate program.

  • Methodical with outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Able to plan and implement marketing plans and achieve business objectives
  • Strong Excel/MS Office skills, financial/numeric skills to work with pricing, stock/inventory management and reporting
  • Experienced in multiple market sectors, with a strong business acumen
  • Ability to thrive within an innovative, fast-paced and competitive environment
  • Product management/sales/procurement and marketing positioning experience
