Position Summary: -

The Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) plays a critical role in our organization by leading the financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic analysis efforts. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide insightful financial guidance and support to aid in decision-making and achieve our business objectives.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

Financial Planning:

  • Lead the development of the annual operating plan, long-range strategic plans, and associated financial models.
  • Collaborate with business units to establish performance metrics, KPIs, and targets to drive business growth and profitability.

Forecasting and Budgeting:

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial forecasts, incorporating inputs from various departments and market trends.
  • Manage the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and efficient allocation of resources.

Financial Analysis:

  • Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions, investments, and resource allocation.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend actionable solutions.

Business Partnering:

  • Build strong relationships with functional leaders and provide financial guidance to support their initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and optimize business performance.

Management Reporting:

  • Prepare and deliver insightful financial reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key performance drivers and variances against budgets/forecasts.

Cost Management:

  • Monitor and analyze cost structures to identify areas for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and resource optimization.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to the development of the company's strategic plan by providing financial analysis and insights.
  • Evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and investments from a financial perspective.

Process Enhancement:

  • Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Desired Skills

  • Education CA /CFA or MBA in Finance with 6-110 experience in FPNA or Engineer with data science background
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a track record of at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (Excel, ERP systems, financial planning software).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in a multinational corporation or related industry is advantageous
