We are hiring a strong, a high energy professional that has her/his mind in the evolution of Cloud services experience, and has the influence to lead internal and external stakeholders on a journey towards rapid & sustainable growth with our ecosystem of Provider partners, Cloud vendors, and End users.

About You

 

You have a passion for leading at the cutting edge of IT & Cloud computing - providing transformative thought-leadership to organisations in the world’s most diverse and exciting region. You are a high-energy person with a very strong work ethic. You will work hand-in-hand with fellow sales Associates by problem-solving key technical issues for our customers. You liaise with the product marketing and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to CloudBlue Platform products.

 

You're a Pre-sales Solution Consultant/Solutions Architect with excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills. You have previous experience in cloud platforms, identity, billing, and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS products. You’re proactive and have a high attention to detail. You have an astute business mind, backed by technical expertise and depth. You’re great at public speaking with strong customer presentation skills and technical acumen.

What you’ll do

  • Work with the sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities, design solutions for CloudBlue Platform products, identify key customer technical objections and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
  • Own the technical relationship with CloudBlue customers, including managing product and solution briefings, responding to RFPs, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on CloudBlue.
  • Be the voice of the customer, champion and advocate for customer requirements with our Product and Engineering teams
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required. Note: Currently all work is being done remotely due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.

 

Strong candidates will have these attributes

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience serving in the capacity of a technical sales/solutions engineer in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role (including working as a member of a professional services or solutions engineering team).
  • Experience with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS technologies and Enterprise-grade solutions Cloud industry knowledge. 
  • Experience with scoping and designing Cloud Management Platform solutions and integrations such as identity and billing integrations
  • Experience presenting and delivering technical sales pitches.
  • Experience with responding to RFP/RFIs.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with customers.
  • Persistent, tenacious and able to deal with people when they are happy or not
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
  • A great communicator and collaborator in both technical and non-technical contexts
