Marketing Director, Cloud Channel Marketing

Ingram Micro Cloud is searching for the ideal candidate to lead a team of talented marketers and working directly with the most innovative technology firms that are shaping the future of cloud computing, including Amazon, Dropbox, Microsoft, Google, and IBM. This is an excellent opportunity for a leader with experience creating campaigns that drive tangible business value and success. In this position, you will be responsible for leading our USA Channel Marketing team with a multi-million P&L, working directly with sales and key vendors to build successful, profitable marketing campaigns targeted at Ingram Micro’s network of customers and channel partners. Working closely with sales leadership, your team is also responsible for employing the latest, most successful marketing tactics aimed at growing our business through broadening our base of customers and partners. You will lead your team to demonstrate clear success and ROI of marketing efforts to both the company and our key vendors.

In addition, you will also build and execute channel marketing programs to support Ingram Micro Cloud’s rapid growth in the USA. You will work directly with vendors, as well as Ingram’s regional sales leadership and field marketing teams to plan, create and execute campaigns that scale success.


  • Lead USA team responsible for vendor-based marketing
  • Manage a multi-million-dollar P&L, including growing Net Marketing Revenue (NMR) and Gross Profit (GP)
  • Manage a group of marketing individuals by developing organizational structure, assigning vendor accounts and ensuring adequate personnel coverage for group assignments
  • Elevate the quality of marketing programming in the Americas
  • Responsible for coaching marketing managers on the development and implementation of effective marketing plans, programs and go-to-market strategies for vendor partners
  • Attract and acquire net new customers for Ingram Micro Cloud
  • Partner with USA sales, and Vendor Business Managers to drive and execute joint go-to-market plans
  • Manage vendor relationships. Set strategy; partner with vendor management teams on annual/bi-annual planning
  • Establish process and plan for campaigns, and execute key campaigns quarterly
  • Lead team responsible for brand marketing, including PR, Analyst relations, and influencer marketing efforts


  • Minimum of 12 years related industry experience including leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred
  • Must have experience leading multi-faceted teams, with proven success coaching, elevating and managing marketing teams.
  • Must have direct experience working with organizations, responsibility outside of North America is a plus
  • Must be passionate about driving progress; willing to roll up sleeves and personally take on challenges head first to get work done.
  • Must have the ability to understand and communicate financial data
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate comfortably and confidently with the senior executive team
  • Professional work-ethic and possess the capacity to work autonomously in both a team environment
  • Previous experience working in the technology industry, preferably Cloud Computing Technolgy. 
  • Travel: Approximately 15% or more
