This position supports the Customer Support Manager and the Support department, is a combination of business process review and documentation writing. The documentation writing responsibilities will comprise approximately 80-90% and include mapping and documenting internal process and helping define new process, along with gaps analyses and improvements on current processes. The remainder of the time will be comprised of small project coordination. 

The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, collaborative and willing to take on new and diverse projects. Additionally, the candidate must be well organized, effectively multi-task, prioritize, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. 

Primary Responsibilities  

  • Write and prepare various support Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and documents related to processes and procedures in the production and management of products 
  • Analyze regional business units’ feedback before and after producing the documentation and enhance quality of the content accordingly. 
  • Work with SMEs to understand documentation requirements to produce high-quality results; 
  • Contribute to the internal initiative to enhance documentation standards and processes 
  • Engage with Product management, Project managers and vendors to understand and review new platform m and product releases. 

Experience  

  • High level of motivation; self-starter; drive for results 
  • Track record of understanding and supporting technical, business and professional requirements  
  • Ability to work with Manager to accomplish organizational priorities  
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently sort through data to identify key issues or variables to consider in making critically important strategic decisions and strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and across multiple and varied functional teams 
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written involving high-level communications with internal and external contacts; ability to listen and simplify details depending upon target audience; ability to influence others 
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Visio 
  • 1-2 years’ related experience in an IT industry 
  • Strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and analytical skills 
  • Ability to multitask and adjust on the fly 
  • Adapts well to changes and strives for continuous improvement 
  • Must be comfortable working in both team and individual environments 
  • Must be self-driven and must take initiative on issues
