Inside Sales Account Manager

The initial focus of this role is to make outbound calls to new & existing IT resellers, distributors & solutions providers to identify decision makers, working around an existing renewal base with the aim of identifying expansion sales opportunities for accounts that sit within the Inside Sales Team.

Salary: 
£20,000 + £25,000 On Target Earnings + Benefits & Career Progression

Successful candidates will also be included in quarterly and annual sales team incentives and have the opportunity to progress into field sales account management.

Principal Accountabilities but not limited to the following;

  • Making outbound sales calls to new & existing reseller clients 
  • Working on upcoming renewal contracts 
  • Identifying sales opportunities and establishing relationships to develop these accounts
  • Database Management – Cleansing/updating
  • Managing and developing Inside Sales accounts as part of a team 
  • Achieving and exceeding monthly team sales targets

Preferably you will

  • Have previous experience in a telephone-based role i.e. call centre, telesales, cold calling or another inside sales role
  • Be focused desire to succeed and develop a career in sales
  • Be well presented and target driven
  • PC literate – Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams etc.
  • Have a general understanding of IT & networking although training will be given

The Person

  • Candidates must be driven to succeed, be confident communicators and be unfazed by telesales, cold calling or Inside Sales account management with an excellent telephone manor.
  • You must be computer literate and will ideally possess some knowledge of the IT or communications industry, although this is not essential
