Position overview:

The Cloud Technical Architect will play a critical role in providing strategic and technical expertise to CloudBlue Customers from qualified pre-sales through solution delivery and interacts directly with the customers and other members of the CloudBlue team to conceive and implement technological solutions to business challenges.

 

This position will be responsible for translating the client's business requirements into a specific solution. This includes working with client personnel and executives to identify functional requirements and subsequently working with and leading others in the identification, justification and design of the client's solution.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assess & Design solutions for CloudBlue Commerce (formerly: Odin Automation) platform
  • Identify, analyze, understand and document business requirements
  • Perform impact and system analysis based on business requirements
  • Leading a sub-team of consultants and engineers in support of implementation
  • Support the development of test architectures and technology validation strategies
  • Collaborate with other technical teams in the exchange and transfer of technical knowledge and in the development and evolution of architecture standards, guidelines, reference architecture and Roadmaps

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience
  • 3+ years experience with CloudBlue Commerce platform
  • 3+ years experience in technical and architectural design: describe, document, and articulate solutions to address large, complex, multi-platform system opportunities
  • Accountability and a strong customer service drive are essential prerequisites for this critical role
  • Ability to achieve results while operating independently with minimal guidance
  • Good handle on selling approaches and presentation of new, abstract technical concepts effectively to Engineers and Management alike
  • Product design/management experience; Program Management
  • Excellent level of English (written and verbal)

  • Ready to work in a global company, with different cultures and time-zones

 

Nice to Have:

  • Database skills with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
  • Scripting languages: bash, php, python
  • Cloud infrastructure services experience (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Odin, LPI/RedHat, Microsoft certifications
