Associate III, Purchasing / Supply Chain Coordinator (One Year Contract)


The Associate III, Purchasing / Supply Chain Coordinator (SCC) role is intended to support specific parts of the pipeline of electronic and manual data flow between the Vendors, the Buyers, Sales, and the ALC’s (Advanced Logistic Centres/Distribution Warehouse).

The majority of the support is provided in four key areas: pushing and pulling Direct Ship PO information between Sales, the Vendor, and the Direct Ship Billing Team, Order maintenance on specific parts of stocking PO’s,

Providing information from the vendors to Sales based on questions asked via the SCC Communication Form, Pushing and pulling information regarding stocking orders and existing inventory between the ALC’s, Purchasing, Sales, and the Vendor.

It is the Associate III, Purchasing / Supply Chain Coordinator's responsibility to ensure that information follows a quick and cost efficient path between the concerned parties, communicating with vendors, Purchasing associates, and ALC associates to resolve moderately complex issues on open orders, and customer satisfaction issues.


Education: A degree or 2 years of University education required.
BA/4 year degree preferred

Experience: 1-2 years minimum experience required Minimum one year related industry experience required

Knowledge of: General computer applications (Microsoft Word and Excel), Impulse, and Outlook.

Skill in: requires a high level of verbal and written communications skills to seamlessly communicate key points of the issues that they will encounter and will comprise at least 20% of the total time spent performing the essential tasks of the position.

Organization, prioritization, multi-tasking, detail orientation Ability to: work with a sense of urgency, follow an issue through to its resolution, keep appropriate parties informed of critical items.
