What we are looking for:        

We are hiring for a Business Development Representative for our Cisco Sales team covering new business growth throughout the US. This is an inside sales role and you will partner with accounts for about 6-12 months getting them established with Ingram Micro’s platforms and services and then will hand off to the core sales team. We are looking for someone that is pro-active, has a proven track record in obtaining new business, has worked within quota driven environment before. Experience in technology sales is preferred.

This role can sit in Buffalo, NY or Scottsdale, AZ. For Buffalo, schedule is Mon-Fri with a mix schedule of hours- 8:30-5:30/9:00-6:00/11:00-8:00 to provide coverage across the US/ For Scottsdale, schedule is Mon-Fri 8-5/9-6. Both locations require availability for extra hours at month end, quarter end and year end.

What you will do:

  • Builds and expands strategic relationships primarily with new and current (under-developed or limited activity customers)
  • Sells programs, products, solutions and services to owned set of accounts
  • Attracts new business and converts prospects into partners
  • Proactively identifies, qualifies and processes new and existing customer leads
  • Executes strategy to grow list of assigned partners

 What you bring to the role:

  • Min High School Diploma, 4-year degree preferred
  • 1-3 yrs. of relevant experience, ideal candidate will have prior experience with technology/software sales -Inside Sales/Account Management/Business Development
  • Prior experience in a role with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals/monthly quotas
  • Familiarity with MS Office Programs-Outlook, Excel & Word is required
  • Excellent communication skills- verbal and written as you will be talking to our customers a lot!
  • Driven to get results and achieve goals
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team Player
