We are highly committed to expanding our Xiaomi business and in order to achieve our goals we are actively looking for a Vendor Business Manager to join our dynamic team.
As Vendor Business Manager you will manage the operational and financial transactions related to the Xiaomi vendor. In this role you will manage internal and external relationships ensuring financial excellence.

The Vendor Business Manager is a key role in the end-to-end management of the Vendor Financials, from validation of purchase orders to reporting results during month end closing. For this roll it is vital to have a good and proven combination of financial back ground and commercial sense of business.

The location for this full-time job is based at our Ingram Micro entity, with the possibility of home working. We are following the safety regulations from the local government strongly during this Covid-19 period. You will report directly to Joram Sluijter, our Sr. Business Unit Manager, who is based in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

You will be working in the Mobility Distribution and Components team of 15 engaged colleagues.

What will you do? 

  • You will be the first point of contact for the Vendor and Business Unit Manager to ensure smooth communication flows.
  • Together with the team you are responsible of achieving the set target. 
  • You will validate and sign off the purchase orders to the Vendor
  • You will keep track off and take action on stock levels and therefore initiate sell out plans if needed
  • You will manage marketing fund and assigning budgets to sales orders
  • You will take care of the vendor Stock management, sell out promotions and budget available funds
  • Vendor Cash flow management is your responsibility
  • You will manage letter of credit with bank and Vendor.

  • You will ensure timeliness and accuracy of the monthly close activities.
  • You are a team player and an excellent communicator and operates with a sense of urgency; makes things happen within the broad business picture.
  • You have a commercial mindset and result driven. 
  • You have a relevant working experience in Vendor Management / Purchase, and you want to work in a fast-paced and commercially driven organization. 
  • Working within an environment where compliance rules are applied is not new for you
  • You can work autonomously and manage your own portfolio, following processes and procedures,
  • Furthermore, you are able to integrate information into tangible solutions, solve problems quickly and efficiently as well as provide support to others
  • Your language skills in English and Dutch are fluent.
  • Experience with working for Asian companies is a plus
