Supervisor Operations

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor  inventory and replenish operators as required to maintain production goals
  • Maintain inventory backlog within customer  SLA
  • Identify employee performance exceptions and take immediate corrective action with the appropriate personnel
  • Ensure team adheres to Safety policies and procedures
  • Achieve cost objectives
  • Achieve quality goals
  • Complete daily Cycle Counts and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Complete weekly 5S audits and maintain housekeeping goals
  • Complete weekly Safety audits and correct any issues identified
  • Complete daily Forklift audits
  • Process all outbound orders and transfers are processed on a daily basis
  • Process all inbound receipts on a daily basis
  • Evaluate processes and make improvement recommendations
  • Address internal and external customer issues
  • Maintain consumable supplies inventory
  • Monitor and track employee attendance
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives
  • Conduct training and ensure employees are trained and staffed for key positions
  • Implement personnel/operational policies and procedures
  • Maintain department within monthly labor and supply budget
  • Spend 90% of work day on the warehouse and production floor
  • Mentor, train and develop teammates for career progression
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • PC literate with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong electro-mechanical skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting concepts and techniques
  • Strong leadership and motivation skills
  • Attention to detail, well organized, accurate
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team driven customer service environment

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • An Associate’s degree in related field is required or equivalent industry experience
  • Leadership training or military leadership
  • Compliance experience
  • A minimum of three years supervisory experience in a production and warehouse environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a supervisor or above in the RL/ITAD/Refurbishment/Recycle/Repair industry

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment: 

  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand and walk for an 8 hour shift with some occasional climbing
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Manual dexterity to use keyboard to input information
  • Ability to work full-time schedule
  • Ability to work 2nd shift
  • Ability to use standard office equipment
  • Ability to work non-standard hours
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Ability to travel (up to 25% if required)

 

Conditions of Employment (Internal candidates exempt):

  • Must pass background check
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test
