Responsibilities: To provide technical support in the Configuration Department. Participate in the installation and upgrades of various computer hardware and software. Installation, Setup, and Testing are completed as per customer specific build instructions. Serial Number, IMEI, Other Product Specific Identification Prepare and Stage System/Component Configure Hardware Verify work order Maintain and exceed productivity goals for the department. Ensure specified processes, procedures and reporting methods for each customer are followed. Perform Level 1 Order QA Work flows smoothly. Plans work methodically. Standards & documented procedures are adhered to at all times. Requirements: Education: Post secondary education in a technical or computer related discipline (Configuration Department) Experience: 1-2 years configuration experience in a similar environment. One to two years Server/Networking/PC system configuration of both hardware and software in a UNIX or Windows/DOS environment. General knowledge of name brand hardware installation processes. General knowledge of popular operating systems and software applications.
