Our Ingram Micro Advanced Logistics Centre is looking for an Junior Maintenance Associate to join the team! 
This role is based in our 200,000 Sq Ft. distribution centre located in Richmond, BC.

We are a 24/7 operation, and flexibility for day/night shift will be required (rotational shift). There will be a shift premium for night shift as part of our compensation plan.

The Junior Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance team and all departments in the Advanced Logistics Centre by ensuring smooth and safe operation of all equipment and machinery. They will be part of a team of 6, including 3 Millwrights. 


  • Follow all company and work safety policies and procedures
  • Follow all mechanical and electrical work instructions and procedures
  • Read mechanical drawings for conveyors, machines and building
  • Carry on preventative maintenance and repair for conveyors and packaging machines
  • Inspect and maintain dock doors, Racks and building equipment
  • Order mechanical parts from Suppliers and monitor parts inventory
  • Have basic computer skills to access emails, windows office and PM program
  • Have basic electrical skills and knowledge
  • Implement projects to improve the operation of the conveyor system
  • Work with service contractors to maintain building and production equipment
  • Operate man lift machines and power machines
  • Assist in repairing, maintaining and troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Participates in analytical problem solving and can make decisions relating to each problem encountered
  • Flexible to work overtime, weekends and long weekends as required
  • Basic troubleshooting of sprinkler and fire alarm systems
  • Basic welding and fabrication as required
  • Maintain service standards and complete work orders in a timely manner
  • Documented standards and procedures are always adhered to

Education and Experience:

  • Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in an automated distribution environment working with conveyor systems.
  • Basic PLC troubleshooting experience an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Millwright apprentices welcome.
