The essence of the position can be summarized like this:


The IaaS Solution Architect provides technical pre-sales guidance to drive vendor sales growth across partner ecosystem, primarily interfacing with current and new Ingram customers and prospects, with a specialization and focus on AWS offerings. You will be responsible for actively discovering, creating, nurturing, developing, maximizing, and securing new business opportunities for Ingram Micro Cloud and its Vendor partners’ products, services, and solutions within the IaaS technology segment.

What kind of tasks would we assign to you?


  • Build and maintain partner relationships in Hungary, and support the IMC CEE regional sales reps as well when necessary
  • Win net new customers for Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace by positioning the Ingram Micro AWS and other IaaS value propositions
  • Close new deals and drive results in large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex cloud-based solutions
  • Collaborate on pre-sales activities from recruitment through close by providing technical and product expertise
  • Alongside Account Owner and Cloud Sales reps, develop strategy for acquisitions, migrations, and conversions
  • Work with vendor to create, maintain, and communicate vendor technology plan to resellers during sale process
  • Facilitation of customer product understanding through presentations, demonstrations and benchmarks that accentuate the value Ingram Micro Cloud solutions can deliver to customers
  • Set up and present demos to prospects, answer technical questions, explain how solutions integrate with other technologies
  • Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying AWS cloud technologies and solutions in response to clients’ business requirements and needs
  • Collaborate with resellers on technical post-sales integration, support, and product evaluation by providing technical and product expertise, leveraging own, regional, and global resources
  • Formulate and lead expert functional support activity to prospective clients and customers on AWS new workloads and migrations while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Ability to scale expertise across each phase of sales cycles and provide responsive, informed guidance to customers and sales teams regarding IMC’s innate technological and service-based strengths with concentration on AWS
  • Places orders for customers according to Ingram Micro Cloud’s pricing guidelines
  • Coach, support and provide cover for other members of the team when needed, in case of absence or to provide specialist knowledge in specific fields when required


Who would enjoy the most working with us?


In case you are passionate about cloud solutions and constantly keeping your knowledge up-to-date and you like deep-diving into this topic as well as supporting our resellers to find the best fitting solution for their end customers.

If you have excellent written and verbal as well as visual communication skills in Hungarian and in English.


We also appreciate if you have strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills and an ability to build solid, effective working relationships with others. We work in a team but independent approaches are needed, as well. It is great if you like creating as well conducting formal presentations towards our future customers.


It is an advantage if you have experience working across: AWS, MS Cloud, IaaS, Azure as well as a knowledge of cloud and AWS system design and some kind of AWS certifications recognized by AWS and you truly enjoy customer facing tasks!


Where do you have your place in the organization?


The IaaS Solution Architect role is sales based and solution focused with a market leading understanding of the relevant programs, offers, products, services, and solutions offered by the Vendors within the IMC IaaS portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Cloud, CEE, you will assist cloud team reps with vendor positioning and establishing relationships with key technical stakeholders to be able to identify, win and develop new and existing customers by providing a complete understanding of the technical aspects of products and solutions to enable complex solution design. Your ultimate mission is to make Ingram Micro Cloud’s resellers “wildly successful” by enabling them to develop new business opportunities and design solutions which deliver tangible business benefits.
