Your role:


Ingram Micro Global IoT organization is recruiting a Sr. Channel Development Manager to establish leadership for Ingram Micro brand in IoT, AI and MR. The ideal candidate will be responsible to create marketing strategies, and drive plans to develop the partner network to adopt these emerging technologies.


In this position, you will be responsible for leading our channel marketing team, working closely with the country marketing teams, to build successful and profitable marketing campaigns to drive growth of IoT globally. The role will also include creating training programs to develop channel IQ in IoT, running marketing campaigns, establishing user groups, organizing channel events, and driving Ingram Micro as the thought leader in IoT for the channel.


Working closely with leadership, your team is also responsible for employing the latest, most successful marketing tactics aimed at growing our business through broadening our base of customers and partners. You will lead your team to demonstrate clear goals and ROI of marketing efforts that scale success.


  • Develop a IoT Channel development and go-to market strategies
  • Lead global marketing events and web presence
  • Establish the right tiering of the channel and develop programs appropriate for each tier
  • Elevating the partner’s competence in these emerging technologies
  • Collaborate with country marketing teams globally to establish and deliver marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Establish and run user groups for IoT
  • Organize and run events, competitions, and hackathons
  • Responsible for coaching marketing managers on the development and implementation of effective marketing plans, programs, and go-to-market strategies
  • Manage a group of marketing individuals by developing organizational structure, assigning vendor accounts, and ensuring adequate personnel coverage for group assignments
  • Elevate the quality of marketing programming
  • Partner with sales, and Vendor Business Managers to drive and execute joint go-to-market plans
  • Lead team responsible for brand marketing, including PR, and marketing efforts


What you bring to the role:


  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years related industry experience including leadership experience
  • Experience in working with distributers and channel transformation for Emerging technologies
  • Experience in Eloqua type marketing tools
  • Experience in running user groups, training programs, and global campaigns
  • Must have direct experience working with matrixed organizations and partnering with other marketing organizations globally
  • Must have experience leading multi-faceted teams, with proven success coaching, elevating, and managing marketing teams
  • Must be passionate about driving progress; willing to roll up sleeves and personally take on challenges headfirst to get work done
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate comfortably and confidently with the senior executive team
  • Professional work-ethic and possess the capacity to work autonomously in both a team environment
  • Previous experience working in the technology industry, preferably Cloud Computing Technology
