Cloud Infrastructure Services Sales Specialist – ISV focused on Microsoft Azure/Amazon Web Services

Our cloud team is growing again and we’re looking for the best of the best to work with our high performance sales team and communicate how our unique cloud strategy will unlock revenue opportunities for our reseller partner base and more importantly, business process enhancements for their customers.  Ingram Micro Cloud offers channel partners access to a global marketplace, expertise, solutions and enablement programs that empower organizations to configure, provision and manage cloud technologies with confidence and ease.

We have a great opportunity available for a Cloud Infrastructure Services Sales Specialist focused on ISV partners in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services platforms. The role will focus on recruitment and business development of System Integrators (SIs) who have built their own Intellectual Properties and also Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) who are interested in developing their Infrastructure as a Service practice on Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services platforms.  If you have a successful track record helping ISV/SI organizations navigate their journey to cloud-based Infrastructure platforms, this is a great opportunity to excel at what you love doing.  The successful candidate will exceed all sales targets, help ISV partners embrace the cloud and adopt an “as-a-Service” mindset through enrolling them in the ISV program to grow and scale their business through the channel in Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and develop business relationship with ISV partners to build and develop their solutions/products on Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services
  • Building relationship with CXOs at ISV partner organizations
  • Manage the entire sales process to achieve key performance metrics, with responsibility for both existing accounts and new business development
  • Evangelize the benefits of Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services platforms to emerging ISV partners
  • Assist new and emerging partners on their channel strategy and go to market initiatives
  • Educate Ingram Micro’s ISV partners on the Microsoft Azure and Amazon Webservices value proposition and help them navigate through vendor’s partner programs
  • Effectively communicate and educating ISV partners on the benefits of the Ingram Micro cloud strategy
  • Exceed on set monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets
  • Focus on ISV engagements, maintaining and growing market share, also supporting and driving corporate sales objectives.
  • Accurately track and manage all sales activities and updates within CRM pipeline management tool

 Job Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the IT industry, the cloud landscape, distribution, and Ingram Micro’s role in each
  • Experience working with/for SaaS providers, ISVs or SIs selling Software applications
  • Experience working with/for Microsoft/ AWS partner Ecosystem (ISV/ Technology partners)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft / AWS Partner programs
  • Strong Business and Technical acumen to effectively communicate with BDMs and TDMs
  • Moderate to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services platform and associated benefits
  • Proven track record in business development, managing partnerships and delivering against ambitious targets
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills, problem solving agility, proven multi-tasking skills while managing tight deadlines
  • Proven capabilities in sales negotiations
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% -70% of the time across North America  *Once restrictions are lifts and its safe to resume.

Requirements:


University degree or College diploma, minimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT services role

Completion of Microsoft Azure AZ 900 and/or Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification will be considered an asset
