SCOPE & PURPOSE OF ROLE:

 Working within a fast paced fast moving technology centre in Norwich, you will be the lead and ambassador the logistics team across the site supporting the operations customer service delivery.
Your primary areas of responsibility are Goods In/Out, Warehouse, Booking In & Dispatch and Stores (inventory).
Through your supervisory team, you will manage the day to day activities within the areas listed above whilst maintaining the highest level of integrity.
Your role in essence is to deliver robust processes that move stock from the warehouse to their intended destination in a controlled secure manner, through your teams, adhering to Ingram Micro’s security procedures during the journey.
And to demonstrate responsibility and accountability within the areas to service the operational teams.

  • There will be multiple requirements from multiple customers with many moving parts. Strong organisational skills are a must have.
  • Problem-Solving Skills - you will need to be ready when problems arise, or be ready to anticipate problems before they happen.

    Desirable:

    • Layout Design.
    • Experience of report production in a variety of system templates (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
    • Stock control systems / experience.
    • Experience dealing with high value goods.
    • Flexibility at all times.
