Inbound Operations Team Lead

We have another great opportunity available in our Brightpoint Warehouse team. In this full time permanent role you will act as the Inbound Operations Lead for Brightpoint and coordinate and provide support in the running of a safe and efficient operation. This role is located in our Warehouse in Falcon Road, reporting to the Dispatch & Inbound Supervisor.

 What you will do:

 You will act as a facilitator or lead to more junior personnel, independently performing a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from your supervisor. Day to day you’ll be performing and coordinating the adherence to up to date processes, work instructions and standard operating procedures to achieve prescribed outputs; make recommendations to your manager to continuously improve procedures to better achieve the prescribed outputs and support management with processing forecasted volume information, assisting with induction and training and support the delivery of regular colleague briefings via the use of Operational Dialogue boards.

You will also be involved in activities such as truck and container unloading, checking off products on delivery, purchase order receipting on RF Scanner/GUI, put away of stock, reach and counterbalance hoist driving, troubleshooting, quality assurance checks and liaising with Customer Service ensuring effective communication, order processing and problem resolution.


What you need to succeed?


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Warehouse operations role to provide administrative or technical support at a specialist level, comfortable facilitating briefings and training to staff
  • Independent and proactive, high degree of initiative to resolve issues in a reliable and effective manner and make recommendations for new procedures
  • Strong communication/assertion skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Energetic and able to be on your feet most of the day (from time to time you’ll be lifting heavy items of up to 25kg)
  • ERP system knowledge required and strong computer literacy
  • Fork hoist/reach truck license preferred
