About the job
You will collaborate with all our L&D specialists, HR Managers and Business leaders to enable our business objectives by accelerating the development of our associates with critical peoplemanagement skills. You understand the importance of influencing people, on different hierarchical levels, in a multi-country and multi-cultural environment.
As a key contributor you will design, create and execute all Learning and Development programs throughout Europe. You will set up best practice across all our sites in Europe, to leverage what we already have and create new programs. Here's where your knowlege and training experience are going to count as a major asset in your workingexperience.
You are in the lead and will work closely together with our Managers to equip them with the necessary leadership- and listening skills and shape how we engage better with our associates to consistently reinforce our culture and values. As far as co-ordination skills are concerned, you will work in-conjunction with our local HR Managers and L&D Specialists to build a quarterly L&D plan for Europe, taking responsibility for the harmonization and deployment of new and existing training programs for employees at Operational Management and Leadership level.
You will engage with associates to identify and understand where competency gaps are and bring solutions to the table on how to address the training and development needs of associates to enhance engagement and commitment in the workplace. It is important that you help maintain an effective employee engagement and onboarding framework to support the goals and vision of our People Strategy and Operating Plan. And monitor employee engagement through our global Employee Surveys and contribute to action plans with L&D initiatives that support teams across the business to meet engagement targets.
You will be the go-to person for questions about L&D and have insight in L&D portfolio across Europe and be responsible for representing CLS Europe in Regional and Global L&D meetings, to ensure that CLS is also aligned with the global L&D strategy.

You will receive an annual employment contract with the prospect of a permanent contract afterwards. You will report directly to the EMEA HR Director for Ingram Micro CLS (based in Waalwijk, NL) and have a dotted line reporting to the EMEA L&D Manager for Ingram Micro (based in Dubai). Please note that you will be based in Waalwijk (NL) or south Berlin.
