What you’ll do

As the Cloud Vendor Manager (SaaS) your responsibility is to ensure that all Vendor partnerships are managed profitably for Ingram Micro Australia. This entails managing the vendor agreements and enabling us to deliver on our strategy as a Master Cloud Service provider (MCSP) across the region. Close attention in relation to profitability (GM$ & GM%), rebates, development of cohesive Vendor business and marketing plans, co-op funds generation and optimizing pricing strategies to ensure market share and growth opportunities are capitalized upon. 

Additional key responsibilities for this position will be but not limited to;

  • Optimize the Contribution Margin Dollar growth across the region
  • Pricing and Products – ensuring the all system information is up to date consistently including New Product Introduction, Assist Sales staff with large quotes, Provide support to customer on product and channel information, Develop Planned opportunities via sales leads, Provide pre-sale support to recruit new customers, Maintain and increase run rate business
  • Maximizing mindshare for their vendor products within the sales team and offering appropriate level of sales support
  • Creation of quarterly business and marketing plans in conjunction with vendors and sales team.

What you’ll bring

  • 6+ years’ experience in product marketing or sales in SaaS, IaaS, Managed Services or Cloud based role ideally across multiple geographies
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills with the ability to conduct VLookups, Pivot Tables and moderately complex formula calculations
  • Ability to calculate gross margins, pricing models
  • Ability to read and comprehend marketing plans
  • Demonstrated previous experience in developing and building strong business plans and executing against these plans
  • Negotiating skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • A good customer service approach

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to help drive Ingram Micro’s Cloud value proposition and further cement our position of market leadership. You will be working side by side with leading vendors along with a team of industry professionals. Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience within the IT sector.
