POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide financial leadership for the Operations Team. Lead the processes of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and spend analysis. Responsible for overseeing cost allocation models for operations spending. Analyzing and seeking approval for capital investments. Develops and prepares the organization's financial plans, policies, and budgets, interprets financial reports and tax returns, and maintains good corporate relations with the investment and banking communities.

What you bring to the role:

• Facilitate the budget and forecasting processes for the operations team including direct and indirect labor, supplies costs, and other spend.
• Providing site-based P&L’s.
• Facilitate weekly meetings with business to discuss current month business performance.
• Develop and maintain allocation models for direct labor, supplies, and occupancy costs across facilities.
• Provide business analysis for variances of actuals to budget and forecast.
• Maintain and refine financial models for operations costs.
• Construct financial analysis for any major spend investment as it relates to operations.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Supply Chain Management.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in field of study.

Preferred:

• CPA or MBA
• Database modeling experience.
• Logistics, operational, or warehousing experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Intermediate knowledge of Kronos, Access, or other database software.
• Strong verbal and written communication & analytical skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff & communicate with executive team.
• Capability to work with very large volumes of data.
• Can handle confidential information.
• Effective prioritization and time management skills.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships through strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship-building and consistent demonstration of solid professional judgment.
