We have great opportunities available for Sr. Solutions Development Associate, Cloud AWS | Sr. Professional, Account Management, Cloud AWS selling Amazon Web Services.


This opportunity will be focused on AWS.

The role will focus on recruitment and business development of our reseller channel partners who are interested in building a practice around cloud infrastructure services.

If you have a successful track record helping organizations navigate their journey to cloud-based Infrastructure platforms, this is a great opportunity to excel at what you love doing. 

The successful candidate will exceed all sales targets, help our partners develop an “as-a-Service” mindset, and help drive cloud adoption throughout the IT channel in Canada. 

Responsibilities:

  • Exceed all sales targets
  • Recruit channel partners and develop relationship to help them drive Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services solutions
  • Manage the entire sales process to achieve key performance metrics, with responsibility for both existing accounts and new business development
  • Assist new and emerging partners on their channel strategy and go to market initiatives
  • Educate Ingram Micro’s channel partners on the Microsoft Azure and Amazon Webservices value proposition
  • Effectively communicate and educate channel partners on the benefits of the Ingram Micro cloud strategy
  • Accurately track and manage all sales activities and updates within CRM pipeline management system

Job Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the IT industry, the cloud landscape, distribution, and Ingram Micro’s role in each
  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services platform and partner programs
  • Proven track record in business development, managing partnerships, and delivering against ambitious targets
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills, problem solving agility, proven multi-tasking skills while managing tight deadlines
  • Proven capabilities in sales negotiations
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time across North America (when the opportunity permits, and travel restrictions are lifted)

Requirements:


University degree or College diploma, minimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT services role

Completion of Microsoft Azure AZ 900 and/or Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification will be considered an asset
