What will you do?
Designs, conducts and provides actionable finding relating to market research initiatives, including desk research, web-survey programming and deployment, sample selection, survey administration, data preparation, descriptive analysis and reporting.
Collaborates with teammates and other teams to strategically plan and execute efforts for internal and external clients, coordinating multiple initiatives at any time. Typical research projects include: using a systematic and scientific research process to collect first-hand customer opinions and feedback based on specific business objectives, conducting sophisticated statistical analysis and applying advanced modeling techniques on the research data, and generating valuable customer intelligence and business insights to support management decisions at all levels. He or she will maintain a broad understanding of Ingram Micro’s business model along with becoming educated on vendors, customers, or internal division’s business models and needs.
Run data models and review data output to ensure the model is accurate along with translating the trends and output of the data model. Be familiar with and use consistently at least three of the following modeling techniques: Conjoint analysis, clustering, decision and model trees, Regressions/linear regressions, and text mining on structured and unstructured data, sentiment analysis.
Effectively listen, communicate, recommend, and present data analytic solutions to internal and external clients. This includes over the phone and in person presentations with PowerPoint and other media sources. Support Program Organization and Execution; Work closely with the project manager to communicate project eta, status, modeling outputs, and client communication needs.
Which Talent do you bring?
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in quantitative research (preferably in Market Research firms)
Familiar with tools for data mining, statistics, analysis, and scripting (e.g., R, Python). Experience with cleaning, aggregating, and pre-processing data from varied sources. Need to have some experience with SQL coding and visualization tools like PowerBI.
