Overview 

A Business Process Architect will lead business process improvements/ transformation for IM Cloud to optimize the experience, streamline processes while improving overall effectiveness and efficiencies. BPA understands best practices for business architecture, performance improvement, and process design. This role will define, standardize, evolve as-is and to-be business capabilities, conduct analysis to recommend prioritization of capabilities. BPA will work closely with cross-functional organizationally, partnering with IT and business stakeholders.  

Roles and Responsibilities:  

  • BPA facilitates the implementation and support of SAP S4 BRIM to enhance IM Cloud’s business functionality and overall performance while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. 
  • Responsible primarily for successful implementation of SAP BRIM, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction to IM Cloud business  
  • Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements and translate them to system requirements with the ability to identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions 
  • Acts as liaison with IM Cloud business for troubleshooting investigates, analyses, and work with IT to solves software problems and map business requirements, processes, and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy IM Cloud needs. 
  • Thought leadership in the business process supporting subscription services/ recurring revenue 
  • Ability to work in a high paced, high change environment  
  • Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise 
  • Define the set of strategic, core, and support processes that transcend functional and organizational boundaries; identify and describe external entities such as customers, suppliers, and external systems that interact with the business; and describe which people, resources, and controls are involved in the processes. 
  • Capture the relationships among roles, capabilities, and business units, the decomposition of those business units into subunits, and the internal or external management of those units. 
  • Perform ongoing analysis on business process related to productivity, quality, cost, and time management 
  • Interacting with various business owners/users Prepare Business requirements documents, author system design documents, and translate / articulate functional requirements clearly via system design documents and functional specification documents 
  • Author documentation as needed to transition knowledge to end-users and support staff 
  • Build Business requirements documentation, lead and drive organizational transformation activities Lead functional and integration testing of assigned projects 
  • Lead functional and integration testing of assigned projects including the building of test plans using the business use case 
  • Provide go-live project support and facilitate knowledge transition 
  • Expand SAP BRIM and related business process knowledge through participation in related user groups 
  • Develop and guide project priorities and deadlines, proactively communicate risks and/or issues that may impact project objectives, budgets, or timelines 

 

Qualification and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field to technology and significant industry experience in cloud or cloud distribution 
  • Experience leading finance projects and system implementation 
  • 2 + years of experience as a process subject matter expert in SAP BRIM  
  • Proven ability to quickly learn existing Business Processes and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines (SAP BRIM capability, Standard cloud industry best practice) to produce an optimal business solution 
  • Business process expertise around Cloud or in cloud distribution space focused on backend finance and operations.  
  • Proven ability to quickly learn existing Business Processes and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines (SAP BRIM capability, Standard cloud industry best practice) to produce an optimal business solution 
  • Adept at understanding customer challenges, navigating from problem to resolution, and communicating process and resolution effectively both verbally and in writing 
  • Demonstrated ability to interact comfortably with all levels of management and staff 
  • Strong business acumen, understanding of accounting, tax, and statutory reporting integration 
  • Work within project planning constraints, communicate any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager, and provide inputs to the change control process   
  • Testing experience in BRIM in the areas of Convergent Invoicing and FICA for contract accounting is a plus 
  • Cloud/Telecom industry knowledge is a plus 

 

Skills: 

  • Proven ability and experience in interacting with business leads to define implementation strategies, business requirements, and solution design related to cloud distribution. 
  • Ability to work independently, effectively coordinating multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing global environment and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment 
  • Adept at understanding customer challenges, navigating from problem to resolution, and communicating process and resolution effectively both verbally and in writing
