Position Overview

Managing a large number of small partners from inside office.

This position is supposed to manage a Large set of  pre-specified customers  ( 150 + ) from inside the office and generate business from  these customers by  proactively making at least 50 Sales Calls daily on phone  and through mailing activities, Selling them our  IT/Ent Mobility Products on a daily basis, arranging for billing deliveries. Collection of payment and taking balance confirmation from partners is the responsibility of the DSE.

The position is also responsible for creating new customers as and when required for various new products launched time to time as per the business requirement of our vendors. 

Though the position is in-house,  but the ART  may have to also visit the customers sometimes depending on any specific business needs..

 Role

  • DSE will have to manage at least 150 to 200 customers on phone.
  • DSE has to call up these customers proactively everyday on phone and sell all IT Products on a daily basis and ensure that we get the maximum share of their daily purchases.
  • DSE has to ensure that orders taken are booked, billed and delivered to their customers on time by coordinating internally with various functions like BO, product team, credit dept, operations dept etc
  • DSE has to ensure that he or she does the Monthly and Quarterly Product wise Topline and Gross Margin Targets given to him/her.
  • DSE has to own up and get the breadth selling done for specific products to a specified number of customers to meet the Internal and Vendor Breadth and Coverage Targets every month.
  • DSE has to generate leads of back to back orders and keep a funnel of the same and share these with the BM and BDEs and ensure that these deals are closed in our favour.
  • DSE has to ensure good wallet share in each of the customer accounts they manage.
  • DSE has to maintain good working relationship with the customers and must get all issues resolved by timely escalating these to the BM and other hierarchies
  • DSE has to Register New Customers for specific Businesses as required from time to time
  • DSE has to ensure timely collection of payments. If there are any cheque bounces or undue delays, they may have to visit the customer to get the payments cleared
