Ingram Micro is seeking a Manager, CloudBlue Custom Software Development, focused on delivering integrations, extensions and customized modules to CloudBlue platform customers. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing, a growing, in-house development teams that develop software projects for CloudBlue customers to extend or integrate their CloudBlue platform. You’ll collaborate with sales, solution architects, project managers, and other R&D teams. You will have the opportunity to develop, deliver and maintain diverse size software solutions to CloudBlue customers to help them get the most value out of their CloudBlue platform.

We are looking for an engineering Leader who can grow and evolve the team to the next level, contribute to the continue development of the CSD practice in CloudBlue and collaborate with the other engineering leaders of CloudBlue to deliver the highest value and satisfaction to our customers.

Your role (responsibilities)

• Ensure the delivery of ordered software projects on time, scope and quality:
  • Lead scope definition, planning sessions, and execution of multiple projects running in parallel.
  • Manage project progress and adapt work as required, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budget control.
  • Identify issues, risks and work in the mitigation plan.
  • (Re-)assign tasks to developers / sub-teams.
  • Supervise engineering deliverables, ensuring quality and performance.
• Lead and develop a team of software developers and team leads, including:
  • Lead multiple engineering teams, executing on diverse solutions for CloudBlue customers.
  • Supervise and support recruitment, onboarding, mentor and development of new members of the team.
  • Ensure that developers are onboarded and regularly trained.
  • Perform regular performance assessments.
  • Secure growth opportunities.
• Review requirements and provide a level of effort and risks for projects.
• Manage support & maintenance for already delivered projects.
• Provide reporting on projects and resource utilization.
• Closely collaborate with different teams and stakeholders in the organization (Sales, Solution Architects, Product Management, QA, Operations, Support, and other R&D teams).
• Drive innovation by leveraging industry best practices in technology.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC.

• Deliver ordered custom software projects in time, budget, and quality.
• Lead and grow the in-house custom software development team.
• Provide regular reporting on project status and resource utilization.
• Ensure that support and maintenance for already delivered projects are provided according to SLOs.

What You Should Bring To The Table

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in a related field.
• 4+ years experience in managing software development projects and people.
• 6+ years experience in software development.
• Knowledge in the CloudBlue Commerce (formerly Odin Automation) platform is a strong advantage.
• Experience in custom software development or professional services is an advantage.
• Knowledge in e-commerce, marketplace platforms as well BSS and OSS is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills (English) to communicate with our world-wide partners as well as internally.
• Strong analytical and prioritization skills.
• Highly motivated, hands-on, and results-oriented.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude
