Job Responsibilities:

The Project Manager is responsible for project planning, project schedules, controlling overall project budget/margin, and managing customer needs throughout the project life cycle.  This role will work on multiple projects at once.

The Project Manager plays a key role in project startup gathering project specific details to set up the project plan. This includes developing escalation plans, project plans, project documentation, and managing the pilot phase of the rollout to ensure all project processes and information are accurate. 

The Project Manager is also responsible for schedule planning, providing detailed accurate status reports to internal/external customers highlighting project specific KPI's, serving as an escalation point for staff and customers for matters related to ongoing projects.

Finally the Project Manager will control the scope of work to limit scope creep and identify risk throughout the life of the project to ensure compliance with project charter or SOW.

Location: This role is office based in Plainfield, IN and is a new position added because of recent growth.


Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of project management experience and a proven track record with planning and managing the complete life cycle of large-scale projects, with competing resources, priorities, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong skill level of Excel, Word, Power Point, and MS Project Management Skills.

What you bring to the table: 

  • Experience performing program management duties in the Software Industry, eCommerce or Logistics.
  • High level of organization and time managment.
  • Operations knowledge and experience.
  • PMP certification or training is a plus
  • Experience working with Operational teams to deliver value through effective project execution
  • Excellent knowledge of program management processes and software tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new technology, and complex workflows.
  • Self-starter with natural ability to work in a lean environment.
  • Team player with strong situational leadership skills and credibility to interact at all levels, and build strong relationships with business leaders in order to effect change.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Hands-on and results oriented with a strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility.
