The Director, Cloud Sales will lead a cross-functional team of sales, technical and vendor management professionals and be responsible for development and execution of the go-to-market plan to achieve financial goals.  This role will be a member of the senior leadership team for the US Cloud business and lead a team accountable for strategy and execution.

• A general management mindset combined with an entrepreneurial spirit; accountability for results with the creativity and grit to find ways to win.
• Proven experience developing and executing strategic growth business plans including securing the needed investment to deliver expected business outcomes.
• Leadership experience building and inspiring innovative and agile teams including people managers.
• Experience in go to market execution supporting services businesses, ideally SaaS, IaaS or managed services.
• Solid command of services business models including managed services, IT professional services and/or cloud services.
• Understanding of channel business models including value added resellers, managed service providers, telecom, hosters, system integrators, and ISV’s.

Skills and experience that make you a good fit:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field required with MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive responsibility in sales, alliances, business development and marketing with leadership experience.
• 8+ years of first and second level management experience delivering true P&L results.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Experience working with cross functional roles such as product management, customer support and service delivery.
• Extensive experience in developing customer and vendor relationships.
• Proven skills to manage a large business in matrixed organizations.
• Problem-solving skills, conceptual and analytical skills with a proven ability to turn findings into executable plans.
• Excellent oral, written, listening and formal presentation skills including the ability to communicate and sell ideas.
• Demonstrated initiative to work independently and with teams interchangeably.
