What you’ll do

We are currently hiring an eCommerce Business Development Manager to manage the go-to-market aspect of the eCommerce business within the consumer sales channel for Ingram Micro. This channel includes managing etailers and also traditional retailers who would utilise dropship services. Project Management and a solid understanding of business financials is a key function.

  • Generate and grow existing and white space clients from a revenue perspective
  • Responsible for creating and managing key projects for eCommerce consumer sales team. This requires effective engagement and support from numerous internal teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills are required in this area
  • Develop and manage projects to drive efficiencies and value added services to the internal and external customers.
  • Provide monthly sales reporting to Director of Consumer Sales on previous months performance across the etail and traditional retail channel. Metrics to include (but not limited to) are Revenue, Margin, DIFOT Analysis
  • Provide rolling forecast across all key accounts within the area of responsibility
  • Ensure all associated product teams are include on all forecasting requirements to allow for the stock reservations to me made in advance.
  • Close alignment to the eCommerce support coordinator (who manages pricing and content) and also the eCommerce Account Co-Ordinator (who manages the order receipt/release processes)


What you’ll bring

You will have proven Sales experience across a global industry leader preferably in the ICT/FMCG retail sector.

  • 3 years minimum IT/FMCG retail experience
  • Exposure to ecommerce/dropship services
  • Project Management (ownership and participation)
  • Strong understanding of business financials
  • Inherent competitive nature to win (sales element)
  • Partners effectively with customers, vendors, and key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software & networking products.
  • Delivery of sales targets
  • Territory management experience
  • Solution selling experience
