Ingram Micro is looking for a pro-active Sales Representative for our Cisco team supporting our Miami Export business with a primary focus in the Caribbean territory. We are looking for someone with technology sales experience with Cisco preferred, as well as someone that takes a pro-active approach in calling on potential customers, has a proven track record of achieving results, can identify opportunities and capitalizing on them, & able  to build relationships with customers from sales reps to the GM/Ownership level. Bilingual English/Spanish Speaking, reading, and writing required.

What you will be doing: 

  • Promotes and sells a portfolio of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers
  • Informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices; creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Complete daily call times reaching out to existing customers and following up on leads, setting meetings, capitalizing and getting results from these efforts
  • Stay up to date on Cisco technologies and what is happening in the market with competing technologies
  • Occasional travel outside of the US to the Caribbean Territory maybe needed, but this primarily an inside role (Pending Covid/Safety pre-cautions)


What you bring to the role:

  • 4-year college degree or additional relevant experience in related field
  • Minimum 1 year of functional experience including a minimum 2-3 years of position specific experience (Technology Distribution Sales/Cisco)
  • Bilingual English Spanish Speaking Required
  • Familiarity with MS Office Programs-Outlook, Excel & Word is required
  • Excellent communication skills- verbal and written as you will be talking to our vendors, partners and other team members a lot!
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Driven to get results and achieve goals
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team Player
