We are currently looking for an Finance Operations Accountant/Analyst to utilise their strong financial modelling and analysis skills and experience to support reporting, decision making and analysis of Warehouse and logistics functions across the business. Working closely with the Commercial Finance Team and Operations Team you will contribute to the strategic direction of the business, providing savings and efficiency opportunities, maximising profitability and reviewing service and cost models.

Some key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily Operations Productivity Reporting
  • Monitoring and alerting business partners to trends
  • Assisting in managing and reviewing stock position
  • Assisting with month end close and reporting

This role will also see the successful candidate playing an integral part in the annual and strategic planning process which shall include developing operating expense budgets and forecast for categories such as labour, freight, supplies, equipment and security.

This role offers the opportunity to be mentored by an excellent Finance team and a very experienced Warehouse team.

In order to succeed in this role you will have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to learn and work with various software tools such as SAP BI, SQL tools, Hyperion, Qlikview.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a related discipline
  • Strong systems experience ideally utilising SAP
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Some days in each month will be in the Rosebery Office.

 

It is also highly desirable for the successful candidate be studying towards or currently hold a CPA qualification. Career development for the right candidate can be assured.
