We are looking for  a Channel Development Manager to establish leadership for Ingram Micro brand in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will be responsible to create channel business strategies, and drive plans to develop the partner network to adopt Ingram Micro technology offerings


 In this position, you will be responsible for working closely with the Country head, to build and maintain channel recruitment, enablement & development to drive business growth. The role will also include creating Sales planning and forecasting plans to driving Ingram Micro as the thought leader and further strengthen the Pakistan channel.


Working closely with leadership, your team is also responsible for employing the latest, most successful marketing tactics aimed at growing our business through broadening our base of customers and partners.


What will you do?


  • Channel Business Planning, Demand Generation, Revenue attainment, Channel Development (Recruit, Enable & Grow)
  • Work with named key enterprise channel partners in Gulf to achieve the following:
  • Define GTM and marketing plan to achieve number plan
  • Get senior management / stakeholder buy-in for plan
  • Secure reseller commitment for plan
  • Maintain and grow relationships with resellers
  • Identify regional resellers associated with the Channel and develop Ingram Micro customer base.
  • Regular customer visits and meeting updates to the Country head
  • Regularly meet with TOP customers/ partners in assigned region to strengthen relations and identify areas of growth and articulate (SMART) action plans.
  • Evaluating and forecasting quarterly performance of resellers based on their current market position and their skills
  • Regular updates manager on results, concerns and opportunities
  • Working with Country head to set expected business forecasts per customer for the region
  • Assisting the sales and product team to follow up on sales pipeline with resellers.
  • Helping to identify the right contact persons within each reseller for the various product-lines


Which Talent do you bring?

  • You have 10 years' experience in Business Development ,minimum 5 years' in Senior Management
  • You must be Entrepreneurial
  • You are able to identify gaps in the market
  • You are able to differentiate significantly from competitors (Not on price – high margin expectation)
  • You thoroughly understand and live the sales cycle
  • You have thorough understanding of business plans and goals of the company.
  • You have the ability to execute on strategic initiatives
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
