As the IaaS Sales leader for ANZ, you will lead a cross-functional team of sales, technical, and vendor management professionals and be responsible for development and execution of all IaaS vendors’ go to market strategy to achieve financial goals. This position is based in Sydney NSW.


What you’ll do

As the IaaS Sales Leader you will be responsible for growing the business unit and leading the team.  Your role and duties:

  • Develop and execute strategic growth business plan including securing needed investment to deliver expected business outcomes
  • Extensive go to market execution supporting SaaS solutions/companies
  • Strong knowledge of IT professional and managed services
  • You will understand and execute channel business models to include value added resellers, managed service providers, telecom, hosters, system integrators, and ISV’s
  • You will operate and thrive in a fast-paced agile delivery-oriented environment
  • You will work with cross functional roles such as product management, customer support, and service delivery
  • While working with multi sales teams engaging with the one client at the same time
  • An ability to influence across large organizations at multiple levels
  • Executive (internal and external) presence and ability to grow these relationships
  • Extensive experience in developing customer and vendor relationships
  • You will build and inspire an innovative and agile team of leaders
  • You will also manage a team in a large business in matrixed organization and have proven ability to navigate this

What you’ll bring

A strong team ethic with an entrepreneurial drive. We are an ever-evolving driving force in the industry and as such we are seeking a senior incumbent to drive our IaaS offerings.

  • A BA or additional relevant experience in a related field (MBA strongly preferred)
  • A minimum of 10 years of IT channel experience; As a service experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in sales, alliances, business development, and marketing with strong leadership experience
  • 8+ years of first and second level management experience driving true P&L cost centers 
  • 5+ years of cloud computing/As a service experience preferred
  • Problem-solving skills, conceptual and analytical skills with a proven ability to turn findings into executable plans
  • Excellent oral, written, listening and formal presentation skills including the ability to communicate and sell ideas
  • Demonstrated initiative to work independently and with teams interchangeably.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
