  • To take full responsibility for the logistics & BIA management of a key account, which may change from time to time, as business needs dictate.
  • To effectively manage the logistics relationship with your account in line with customer expectations.





  • To be the primary point of contact within Ingram Micro for the key client for all logistics queries.
  • Working with relevant external parties to take responsibility of the carrier management.
  • Own the transportation activities between IML, TMC and logistics providers
  • Take ownership of the booking coordination for direct loads out of Daventry.
  • Management/Requesting bookings via Customers’ portals, emails, CARP etc where appropriate for DC to do so.
  • Identify security services required for direct loads and assign to load ID’s accordingly & log to share with TMC.
  • Tracking, monitoring, & updating Load IDs and align all parties on shipping requirements and changes.
  • Pre-shipment query management and resolution.
  • Responsibility for all aspects of client(s) freight/carrier reporting.
  • Reporting and dashboard tracking direct loads and providing status of bookings
  • Represent Ingram Micro on the carrier monthly business reviews.
  • Propose & implement (where appropriate) solutions for carrier related issues.
  • Monitor the overall KPI & SLA commitments across all carriers & report anomalies directly to the Senior Account Manager & Operations Manager.
  • Ensure all communication with the client & any other parties, whether written or verbal is concise, accurate and professionally delivered.
  • Produce and maintain weekly carrier status reports and monitor progress.
  • Manage and effectively co-ordinate activities and service levels with the key client, customer service team and Operations, managing expectations, timescales and any internal constraints.
  • Quarterly review and feedback on Customers’ SOPs.
  • Drive initiatives, data analysis and continuous improvements efforts.
  • Manage any changes affecting carriers from Change Request to deployment & hyper care.
  • Attend meetings and conference calls where appropriate.
  • Produce meeting minutes/action points and distribute to the attendees within 48 hours.
  • Act as the escalation point for Operations in relation to all logistics related issues.
  • Act as Point of Contact for all BIA requests (technical issues on product) with the Global BIA Coordinator.
  • Take ownership of BIA activities, communication, and reporting. As BIA coordinator you will take directions from  Global BIA Coordinator and coordinate the actions and communication between OPS, Account Management and F&L.
  • Work with Operations and team Colleagues and other departments to ensure all queries are investigated; resolved and propose corrective action where necessary to the Senior Account Manager & Operations Manager.
  • To be proactive in contributing ideas and suggestions supporting process & logistics services.
  • Be proactive in seeking additional personal training or support where necessary.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of general housekeeping within the department.
