HRIS & Reporting Specialist

SCOPE & PURPOSE:

 

At Ingram Micro, the human resources department focuses on creating the best employee experience for our people. The HRIS & Reporting Specialist designs, develops, and manages the people data presented to the business, compiling, structuring, and analysing data to make conclusions that help streamline HR processes. The HRIS & Reporting Specialist is principally responsible for ensuring that all managers are informed on the status of queries, issues, and concerns by collecting relevant information as necessary. This detail-orientated and data-driven HR role will support our human resources team with a strong foundation to base decision-making processes.

 

 

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

  • Working with the UK sites (Norwich, Enfield, Daventry and Manchester)
  • Compile HR data and metrics working with time/attendance systems, human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Support recruiting processes with data and statistics for trends and patterns
  • Support the HR Manager with the preparation and collation and payroll data/reports ready for monthly submission.
  • Analyse competitors HR practices and make recommendations to management
  • Prepare reports of data results and present findings within a dashboard to the HR Manager
  • Recognize and suggest short-term and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics
  • Contribute to system decision-making, scoping and arranging HR system projects in support of the overall HR strategy
  • Support the wider HR team as required with administrative tasks

 

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge and Experience

E = Essential

D = Desirable

  • SQL knowledge and working practice
  • Intermediate / Advanced Excel
  • Knowledge of Tableau
  • Working knowledge of Mitrefinch T&A System & WORKDAY (HR System)
  • Human resources certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience working in the human resources field
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources analytics
  • 2+ years of experience improving employees experience and performance management through data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
