In order to enable end-to-end IT integration, Ingram Micro offers technical and professional services that has wide advert technology knowledge on solutions like Server Virtualization. High Availability and Clustering Services, Backup and Recovery Solutions, Storage Consolidation, Networking Solutions and more.

Our Professional Services team has the capabilities to leverage on our partners in projects engagement by providing these value-added solutions ranging from pre-Sales activities to technical implementation services using systematic lifecycle approach. 

We're looking for a Sales Account Manager/ Technical & Professional Services who will Understand customers requirements, challenges, and technology goals, connect them to our PS technical team to deliver solutions that ensure high level of service quality and customer satisfaction.

What will you do?

  • Achieve the assigned Professional Services & Training sales target
  • Lead the services & training sales process with the technical team to understand the customer's business and technical goals, and solution requirements to build partner/reseller and customer relationships and scope opportunities
  • Provide guidance to the Technical team for the most relevant demo or POC support required for the project
  • Lead the Professional Services & Training sales process, advise partner/reseller and customers on the required product, services, and training for the project
  • Create Professional Services opportunities, manage pursuits, present project SOW's and be an essential partner in closing deals
  • Manage the partner/customer relationship(s) from initial discussions to close of deal and maintain relationships to help ensure project success and support the sale of additional services offerings
  • Conduct yourself as the liaison of each Tier I project engagement, providing status updates to the sales team in a proactive cadence, through engagement closure
  • Promote the transition, post engagement, from the Professional Services Team to Customer Success, if applicable
  • Present Professional Services offerings to existing partners and customers and new prospects
  • Forecast for accounts and opportunities and develop PS and training sales pipeline
  • Work with the Professional Services Project lead for resource planning to ensure successful knowledge transfer and onboarding of new customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Which Talent do you bring?

  • Minimum 7-8 years of business experience
  • Project Management experience would be an advantage
  • Experience conducting customer workshops
  • Experience positioning the value proposition of PS & training offerings
  • Experience developing and explaining Business Cases / Return on investment studies
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • BS or BE degree or equivalent, MBA degree highly desirable
