Ingram Micro Mississauga is hiring TWO Professional Marketers to Support our Technology Vendors.


The Professional Marketer will execute on marketing strategies and programs to our channel partners and vendors alike.

They work with the programs and digital marketing & events teams to ensure the successful delivery of activities and events. They oversee and monitor marketing revenue and profit of vendors or program/campaign budgets, drive profitable marketing initiatives with positive ROI metrics, and act as a key leader by staying up to date with industry trends and meeting the demands of the channel.

The Marketer is an advocate for the marketing organization’s key programs and initiatives and engagement with business unit leaders. They represent Ingram Micro in marketing-related business meetings, manage assigned product categories/solutions, and understand channel marketing trends, product positioning, and market opportunities.


Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant additional experience in a related field.

Experience: '
3-6 years of marketing/advertising account management experience, preferably in the high-tech computer-related environment or in an advertising agency/sales environment.

Experience developing and implementing channel marketing programs is desirable.

A basic understanding of the distribution channel preferred.


Knowledgeable in: distribution channels relative to an assigned product category as well as general computer applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) as well as the demonstrated ability to learn additional work-related computer applications. (i.e. SAP, Impulse, Oracle, Magellan)

Skilled in:
Advanced selling, consultation, problem-solving, project management, interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate with executive-level associates internally and externally in an articulate and professional manner.

Ability to: practice discretion and understand the appropriateness of communication and behavior, ability to present to large and small audiences.

Ability to: demonstrate business and financial acumen, develop strategic marketing plans, track and manage revenue & profit plans, respond to rapid change, manage multiple projects simultaneously, implement recommendations and see projects through to completion, to work both independently and as a team member.
