TS (Technology Solutions)

The TAM will work with Multiple vendors supporting the UCC business unit (Unified Communications)

    • Expanding the portfolios of existing resellers
    • Educating new resellers
    • Maintaining relationships with focus partners

    • Maintaining up to date product and portfolio knowledge


The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a highly knowledgeable trusted advisor who engages our vendors, reseller partners, sales, and technical organizations to provide technical enablement that drives growth and development. The TAM makes Ingram Micro an indispensable business partner through collaboration with reseller and vendor partners. The TAM assists in driving sales, provides product recommendations, and ensures delivery of complete technical solutions built around our vendor’s products, services, and technologies.  This is accomplished through results oriented, accurate processing of customer requests, as well as internal communication and coordination to complete these requests within SLAs. 

The TAM contributes to building and maintaining business relationships by providing prompt and accurate service to ensure customer satisfaction.  The TAM position requires a high level of interpersonal and relationship skills to facilitate direct interaction with our internal departments (sales, licensing, purchasing, technical support, and vendor marketing); as well as vendors, reseller customers, and their end users.  There is a high level of focus on internal and/or external technical enablement activities.
