Job Description

 

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for driving eBusiness optimization & enablement across our

HP business to positively impact IM´s financial results and the digital experience of our customers on HP Products & Services. This function manages IM’s regional initiatives with vendor, customers, agencies, and internal teams to ensure strategic & successful eBusiness results. This role supports country organizations eBusiness readiness & coordinates existing regional digital marketing efforts to increase demand and sales of HP products & services across all customers’ digital touch points. This function reports directly into the Manager Vendor Engagement for HP Inc. and is part of the Global Partner Engagement team.

 

Essential Functions

Systems Readiness

  • Provides subject matter expertise for all IM’s Sales and Ordering Systems (e.g. IM Online)
  • Provides subject matter expertise for all HP tools & integration with Ingram Micro’s systems (e.g. ACE Configurator)
  • Provides subject matter expertise for all IM’s eBusiness applications on HP products and services
  • Provides training on systems and tools involved in quoting, ordering & delivering HP Products & Services
  • Analyse complex business processes and reports to understand eBusiness risks and opportunities
  • Provides detailed, timely and audience-relevant communication on IM ´s eBusiness results on HP Inc.
  • Defines & drives plans to optimize IM´s systems to enable higher results on HP Products & Services
  • Translates & drives IM´s eBusiness plans on the HP business into executable plans for HP audiences
  • Administrates all HP-related eBusiness processes, systems and overall setup
  • Point of contact for HP on Ingram Micro’s eBusiness tools related items

 

Execution of New Initiatives

  • Own the end-to-end initiative as an agent of the business sponsor
  • Drives all centrally driven digital marketing, business intelligence and loyalty program for HP Inc.
  • Understand the region’s, and division’s goals to analyze, design and execute larger, complex eBusiness initiatives
  • Develops project plan(s) & supporting documentation based on standardized project management (e.g. BRDs)
  • Manage projects to the results defined and communicate project status, including retooling if necessary
  • Detailed, timely and audience-relevant communication of the initiative status to multiple levels on a regular basis
  • Integration of initiative outcomes into the business as through operational hand-offs
  • Commands complex eBusiness operations initiatives, their timing, and impact for the proper evaluation

 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field/Proven Experience on Similar Positions
  • Four to six years’ experience in project management of large sized, complex, and enterprise accounts with matrix supervisory responsibilities strongly recommended
  • Industry experience in digital marketing, information technology consulting, preferably with knowledge of B2B & B2C models and e[1]commerce
  • Solid communication skills both written and oral in English
  • Experience leading large cross-function teams and driving consensus among colleagues; ability to lead, motivate, influence, and drive to results in a highly-matrixed environment is essential. Ability to motivate colleagues to peak performanc and establish credibility with key decision makers
  • Ability to think abstractly and take calculated risks to improve business performance
  • Mastery skill level of Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio and MS Project management tools
  • Initiatives demand could require hours for stretches of time. Some international travel will be required
  • Key competencies include the ability to embrace and champion change and drive ideas forward
