Overall Job Objectives

To Propose and execute on Global marketing plans using digital marketing innovations to drive brand awareness and generate and nurture prospects for Ingram Micro Cloud based solutions.

Overall Role Objectives:

  • Build relationships with both key cloud and software vendor partners and cloud partner managers to understand and align marketing activities in order to deliver on strategic business plans
  • Create, propose and deliver forward thinking, creative integrated marketing programmes
  • Work with the external agencies and global cloud marketing organisation to produce thought leader campaigns including events, email, social, blog, SEO, website and paid advertising
  • Work on strategic marketing positioning, plans and proposals
  • Write, edit and proofread copy for content within marketing campaigns
  • Execute plans fully utilising CRM / data analysis in conjunction with the business analyst and maximizing use of the marketing automation platform
  • Deliver regular reports of campaign results, including web analysis and evaluation of KPIs and ROI

Job Dimensions:

Building strategic business briefs, new marketing revenue from Vendors, project management, key relationship management, creative marketing execution, budget management and financial reporting

Practical Requirements:

Office based, travel as required to meet with customers and suppliers.

  • Building impactful marketing plans alongside the marketing executives that will drive desired business outcomes from strategic business plans (by working with the Cloud partner managers and the strategic cloud and software vendors)

  • Understanding of target audiences/profiling and use of business analysis to deliver tangible insights
  • Setting clear metrics and return in investment goals
  • Increasing gross marketing revenue (vendor investment) into Cloud marketing campaigns

  • Execution of marketing proposals against agreed plans on time and on budget
  • Use of digital marketing mediums including web, SEO, social, email and content lead generation tactics
  • Subject matter expert for marketing automation/nurture platforms
  • Lead generation focus with integration to the cloud sales team to deliver agreed plan and business results
  • Support in the planning and execution of events both online and physical

  • Drive UK Ingram Micro Cloud brand and thought leader campaigns
  • Adhere to global brand guidelines to ensure consistency for all activity
  • Support press release updates
  • Develop marketing led and sales driven motion within the business unit

  • Standard: 3-5+ years marketing experience, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Advantageous: Marketing agency experience

 

  • Academic/Educational Background
  • Standard: Minimum GCSE Maths and English
  • Advantageous: University Degree in business or marketing, Certification in Chartered Institute of Marketing

 

  • IT Skills
  • Standard: PC literate – working knowledge of Office Suite or equivalent windows-based software. 
  • Advantageous: Marketing automation (Eloqua), Social platforms (Semrush) and use of CRM for business insights and data management
