LEAN Leader - Operations

You will……

As Lean Leader you will be joining a mature Operational Management team with an established Lean culture, working with the Head of Operations you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for Lean process improvement projects and driving a Lean and best practice culture across the business both locally and in the region of EMEA

  • Identify and develop robust solutions that increase site reliability, capability and reduce wastes
  • Lead cross functional teams using the Lean tools
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and brainstorming sessions with cross functional teams or individuals where appropriate
  • Own individual projects with defined timelines
  • Work with and train others as appropriate to create, capture, organise and store process knowledge, in a manner that supports effective and efficient retrieval and re-use
  • To support the operational management team as needed

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have…

  • Experience in deploying Continuous Improvement methodologies in enterprises of comparable size, minimum accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, preferably Black Belt
  • Proven track record of successful change management and accomplishments implementing productivity improvement and cost reduction programs
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Minitab experience would be an advantage
  • Experience of hands-on implementation of continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions
  • Strong bias for action, can communicate vision clearly and be a driver of change. 
  • Basic understanding of ERP / WMS / MHS systems
