Cybersecurity Solutions Architect/Sales Engineer


As an Ingram Micro Cybersecurity Solutions Architect/Sales Engineer, you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical/functional support activities to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a cybersecurity technical resource and mentor for sales, customers, and business development teams.
  • Close new deals and drive results in large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex cybersecurity solutions.
  • Conduct workshops with resellers and their end customers to understand their existing cybersecurity posture and technical environments. Using a creative and innovative approach, design solutions for new environments or complement existing ones.
  • Organize and host training, webinars, and present cybersecurity solutions to senior management teams.
  • Translate the strengths and benefits of multiple cybersecurity technologies into business solutions and clearly, succinctly communicate the value to a broad mix of audiences
  • Take a leadership position through the Ingram technical sales process and guides prospect and customer teams to solutions that will scale for their business requirements.
  • Take a leadership role in advising internal and external clients on overall cybersecurity solutions.
  • Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.


Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of sales engineering building technical solutions for customers preferably with cybersecurity and networking experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years cybersecurity technical experience in a field engineering role
  • Thorough knowledge of cloud and cybersecurity network infrastructure and application.
  • In-depth knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape including the strengths and weaknesses of competitors globally.
  • Demonstrated project management and team leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.
  • Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • A BS technical degree or equivalent, an advanced technical degree is highly desirable.
