Ingram Micro’s IBM team is seeking a Program Manager to operate as the practice leader for the Power Systems initiatives. This role will serve as the principle point of contact with IBM, Business Partners and internal resources on business development functions, success initiatives, promotional development & cross-sell play development of IBM’s Power Systems for existing and net-new business partners. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, know how to prioritize deadlines, financial acumen/forecasting skills and an understanding of the sales process.

Your role as a Program Manager:

  • Leverage existing programs and expanding new services as those are introduced
  • Responsible for the management, tracking, and promoting of our Power Systems Growth Initiative Program, research, and partner success analysis, define targets, establish metrics, make recommendations on solution design/feasibility
  • Drive change to ensure ongoing pipeline development and refinement of assigned program/services
  • Will be involved on some contract management/negotiations

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree desirable or equivalent work experience in related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of functional experience and 1 year of position specific experience
  • Knowledge of Servers, Storage, Virtualization and Cloud Management with Large Vendor experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting
  • Knowledge of technology products and distribution channels
  • Knowledge of Ingram's business practices, processes and systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of general computer applications required. Proficiency in Excel Required
  • Strong negotiation skills – must be an influencer
  • Proven sales skills and working experience in developing business plans required
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand/communicate complex financial data.
  • Ability to implement recommendations and see projects through to completion
