Cloud – Value SaaS Product Manager Job Description

Due to continued growth we have an opportunity to join our company as Product Manager for Value SaaS within our Cloud Business Unit. The purpose of the role is to grow revenues in division, being responsible for the product management of Value SaaS.

Driving the Product strategy to achieve revenue, profit and breadth goals for relevant vendors and Ingram Micro UK. Effectively owning and driving a business within a business. Managing and maintaining product portfolio within given vendor base. Engaging with Sales to proactively promote and sell Value SaaS products.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Build a clear strategy for each market sector
  • Maintain and manage customer margins
  • Working closely with sku creation team to ensure all products are live and orderable
  • Ensuring sales teams are aware and trained on relevant promotions in market to maximise profitability
  • Segment product portfolio to align with customer / market demand
  • Develop and maintain vendor set to support product strategy
  • Review product trends and provide direction to sector marketers on “Cloud “ related opportunities
  • Maintain integrity of vendor portals
  • Tracking and reporting of revenue, profit and rebates
  • Maintain customer and system pricing
  • Product queries outside of self-serve
  • Ensure relevant vendor training and focus is maintained for self and company
  • Price list management with the sku management team
  • Ad-hoc operational updates relating to vendor (ie cut of dates for month/ quarter end)
  • Assist on AP issues including vendors on hold and payment authorisations
  • Act as a catalyst between sector marketing and vendor on market development activities
  • Develop effective communications tools to ensure product and or vendor “ message “ is delivered internally and externally in an effective, differentiated and timely manner
