Marketing Manager

The successful candidate will provide strategic go to market direction for an innovative technology area in order to accelerate growth. They will lead a marketing team leveraging business insights to drive end to end execution and business results, looking to further innovate with digital marketing and marketing automation advances to nurture effective and profitable business to business relationships.

Roles Duties:

  • Provide vision and leadership for a team of marketing associates
  • Act as a member of a management team steering strategic direction and collaborating on priority marketing initiatives
  • Manage the marketing budget providing internal stakeholder updates on budget and spend and ensuring all budget is in line with forecast
  • Planning of annual and quarterly marketing activities and strategic campaigns, developing integrated innovative marketing plans in line with business goals and external stakeholder objectives
  • Management of PR activities including press releases, media briefings and social amplification of coverage
  • Management and execution of major events including speaker line-up, production of keynotes sessions, management of agency roles and oversee execution and budget
  • Implementation of globally integrated digital marketing activities
  • Build excellent external stakeholder relationships with both vendor partner contacts and customer contacts with the ability to present
  • Focus on driving results both in terms of new business acquisition and repeat business nurture programs leveraging our global BI capabilities
  • Integration of all marketing activity with the full business unit including sales, operations, commercial management and technical teams
  • Management of customer advisory council boards utilizing feedback to determine future strategy
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Advanced Measurement and performance reporting of all digital marketing campaigns
  • Identify trends and insights on Resellers’ trading behaviour, and optimize spend and performance based on insights
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Implement innovative programmes to continuously improve the asset value of the database in terms of its currency, integrity and depth of information held

Practical Requirements:

Office based in central Milton Keynes head office with occasional UK and International travel required for global marketing collaboration and events.

  • Innovative Marketeer with excellent digital skills and awareness of new media
  • Passionate about Marketing with over 5 years marketing experience
  • Visionary with the ability to influence and lead others
  • Good decision making abilities based on balanced views and direction
  • Expert in developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across all channels
  • Sound commercial awareness and results orientated
  • Detail focused with high levels of accuracy
  • Good communicator at all levels
  • Hands-on in marketing execution
  • Self-starter with strong ideas
  • Analytical always looking to improve based on insights
  • Understanding of Technology, working in B2B and Channel based roles desirable
  • Experience of using CRM and Automated Marketing platforms advantageous
  • PC literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
