Business Development Executive – Google



Our Business Development Executive is a subject matter expert (SME) on the Google product and the Google processes. The role sits within our Cloud sales team and works to support the selling and support capability of our sales teams focused on developing the Ingram Micro Cloud (IMC) Market Place Partner base. The role is both an extension of the Google sales team as well as being the Google SME within the Ingram Micro cloud business unit.


You will…


combine exceptional channel sales expertise, deep IT industry knowledge, and strong analytical and communication skills to develop new and existing channel relationships. Further to this, you'll be responsible for defining the channel strategy in your region, identifying and developing strategic resellers and leading OEMs for Chrome, defining joint GTM and business plans with them and executing against those


  • Proactively develop a community of reseller partners focussed on Chrome OS across various vertical market sectors within the enterprise and the education space.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with senior executives at their organizations.
  • Develop joint go-to-market and business plans and execute against them by reporting on progress vs plan.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc) to deliver a One Google approach.
  • Manage day-to-day support and enquiries from Chrome Channel Partners. Act as the voice of partners within the organization.
  • Lead regular business reviews with partners and offer a strategic and analytical perspective on the partnership, identifying areas of improvement and growth.
  • Manage day to day support and enquiries from Chrome OS partners
  • Ensure partners are trained/educated on the Chrome OS value proposition
  • Collaborate with Google Chrome OS Channel managers in the region to build a successful partnership to grow revenue in sub-region UK/I



You will have…

  • Business Development and Partner Development experience.
  • Experience in the EMEA technology sales channel or education tech channel.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to the needs/style of the audience.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to build and execute on strategic plans over multiple quarters.
