 We’re seeking a Director, Global Marketing

Global Marketing team was established to ensure that CloudBlue is viewed as the IT Industry’s most indispensable business partner. To do this, our strategies include modernizing our marketing practices, strengthening CloudBlue’s brand, sharing great ideas, best practices, and strategies to build profitability with CloudBlue business.

We’re seeking a Director, Global Marketing to lead a talented team of marketers to define and execute go-to-market strategies for our hyperscale digital platform and innovative cloud solutions. Specifically, the marketing function will be responsible for understanding the market, our competitors, and our customers, building compelling sales narratives, developing amazing sales and marketing tools, and developing compelling sales enablement that helps our Sales team close opportunities. Their ultimate objective is to increase a company's sales and to develop the company's brand.

Ideal candidate will report directly into Tarik Faouzi, our Senior Vice President CloudBlue and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing and Product Management to effectively align on priorities, manage expectations, and deliver on the common priorities of the company.  This individual will set the overall marketing strategy for the entire CloudBlue organization, including the web experience, marketing technology infrastructure and lifecycle marketing campaigns.

We are seeking someone who is passionate both about the craft of marketing and the industry in which we operate. They will need to blend deep marketing expertise with savvy business acumen and will be a key member of the marketing executive team. 

What will you do?

  • Lead by example and inspire the marketing team and others across the company while enabling team leads to operate at their greatest potential through best practices, processes and day-to-day coaching
  • Continuously identify and recruit top talent to grow the team and build a center of excellence across our core responsibilities
  • Own and standardize the delivery of go-to-market strategies and the internal and external communication of platform and product launches to maximize the demand generation pipeline
  • Continue to modernize our Marketing practices, be the main contact for CloudBlue Communications and Public Relations (PR) needs, lead efforts to gain more visibility via social media.  
  • Manage a multimillion marketing budget, allocating resources to generate the best yield against the goal of pipeline generation
  • Own and deliver standardized sales enablement and tools across our platform and products to empower our CloudBlue team to learn, present and, close opportunities  
  • Own and ensure the development and articulation of value propositions are clear, differentiated, and defensible
  • Work with Product Marketing leads to create and deliver materials for the sales team and partners, including sales briefings, presentation materials, solution briefs, FAQs, and battle cards that help drive product adoption and create sales excitement and success
  • Develop an integrated marketing plan to drive awareness and adoption with valuable customer insights and compelling positioning and messaging
  • Work with Sales team on the go-to-market plan to assure readiness of Global Sales team with the knowledge and tools to attract customers, close deals and grow the business

What Talent do you bring?

  • Strong interest in working in a large and fast-paced international organization, working with various people across the globe.
  • Great understanding about delivering results with marketing that benefit the business and can expertly communicate those results.
  • 15+ years in the technology/cloud industry with extensive marketing expertise
  • 10+ years of management experience in a marketing and/or product marketing
  • People-focused leader with the ability to build and mentor talented, collaborative teams
  • Deep familiarity with cloud and software delivery models
  • Strong SMB and enterprise market expertise required
  • Experience with channels including VARs, MSPs, distributors, DMRs and OEM partners
  • Strong analytical and P&L management experience
  • Consistently exceed key performance metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
  • Proven ability to foster relationships with industry analysts, drive favorable research coverage and be in touch with current marketing trends.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Strong background in technology/cloud services
  • Experience with SMBs, enterprise and channels
