Transport Customer Service Associate - Operations


You will……

As Transport Customer Service Associate, you will be joining an experienced Operational Management team. Working with the Transportation Manager you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of service for UK deliveries and delivering results within agreed KPI’s and SLA’s. resolving delivery issues with the UK Carriers and Sales and reporting to the business.

  • Overseeing of IMUK deliveries with the UK Carriers ensuring that full traceability is available for the IMUK Business.
  • Overseeing of daily deliveries with relevant partners – including maintenance of relevant Transportation spreadsheets
  • Ensuring that Failures and Exceptions are managed with the relevant parties as per the Transport procedures.
  • Liaising with Sales/Carriers to ensure where needed, orders are booked in with customers and delivered within agreed delivery timescales.
  • To support the operational management team as needed

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have…

  • Understanding of the UK Transportation requirements to a level that allows liaising with all relevant partners
  • Basic knowledge of the logistics/transport industry
  • Great attention to detail with strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience of producing clear and detailed reports
  • Can communicate clearly and be a driver of change in processes or procedures
