About the Role:
Ingram Micro provides exciting internship opportunities for individuals pursuing their Finance/Accounting/Business related degree. The purpose of the internship program is to provide a hands-on experience in a business setting and present interns with real-world insight into the supply chain industry. This coop/internship is a paid opportunity and will be available through May, 2022.
 

Finance Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation of month-end financial reports
  • Financial statement variance analysis
  • Participate in meetings with various lines of business to review forecast to actual results
  • Support FP&A during the preparation of the Company-wide rolling forecast
  • Utilize FP&A software to come up with ways to streamline processes and create efficiencies in data flow and reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Compiles, consolidates and conducts basic analysis of accounting and finance information
  • Examines a variety of financial statements and transactions for accuracy, completeness and conformance with accounting standards
  • Conducts month-end close activities and reconciliations of balance-sheet accounts
  • Maintains internal control documentation (Sarbanes-Oxley), along with process improvement efforts
  • Serve as a liaison for non-finance leaders, providing reporting and analysis support

Qualifications:

  • Current sophomore, junior, or senior with demonstrated interest in finance and/or accounting
  • Excellent organization and data management
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Superb communication skills
  • Desire to work in the finance or accounting field
  • Able to commit 15-20 hours a week during the internship period

Please be prepared to provide three current work references and pass a criminal background check and drug test.
